After 10 years on Stage, as a principal soloist by the young Catalan performing Band, Ivanow Jazz Group and a lots of other Jazz, and Gospel and Soul bands in all Spain and France, the youg Singer from Barcelona Gemma ABRIE shines to be the best hope in the music scenery of Spain.
She performed at the International Jazz Festival of Barcelona with Bassist Charlie Moreno, at the Saragossa Jazz Festival, and also at the Breda Jazz Festival (Netherland). She sang with Artists like Lilian Boutté and Leroy Jones.
Influenced by Singers like Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holliday, she forged herself her own Syle, going from Jazz to Soul and through New Orleans and Swing.
